Discover the Excitement of Alaskan Cruises

By David Everett Platinum Quality Author

Looking for an exotic travel location that is thrilling and luxurious? Alaskan cruises have surged in popularity in recent years, and demand to see America's last unspoiled frontier continues to grow. Alaskan Cruises only operate between the months of May and September or early October and tend to follow one of two principal routes; the Gulf of Alaska or the Inside Passage.

Anchorage is the starting (or ending) point for many Alaskan cruises, but most passengers actually board or disemabark their ships from Seward (125 miles sounth on Resurrection Bay). Alaskan cruises may also start in the town of Vancouver BC.

Alaskan cruises enable you to see the wealth of arctic wildlife and the many national parks and preserves at a comfortable distance, yet close enough to appreciate the splendour of the glaciers. Alaska has a great deal to offer along its many miles of coastline. Alaska's amazing wilderness should be experienced rather then merely passed through.

Ships cruise between massive glaciers and weave among the thousands of islands to offer stunning views. Lucky passengers may even glimpse whales providing an unofficial escort, making "days at sea" a completely different experience than on tropical voyages. And on board one of the modern cruise ships there are a mind-boggling array of spectacular activities and sights. Cruise lines are always willing to help you celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, promotions, retirements, or other momentous events, making your cruise a truly personal one.

Small ships provide more adventure and offshore activities than bigger ships. Big ships are designed for people who are looking for more luxury and comfort, while small ships are designed for adventure seekers. One of the most popular adventures is riding in a helicopter to the top of a glacier. If adventure is more to your liking, there are a number of "sporting" type boats that have kayaks and zodiacs available for use throughout the cruise.

A far cry from tropical vacations featuring snorkeling and sunbathing, Alaskan cruises are perfect summer getaways to experience truly adventurous tours and destinations. Although most Alaskan cruise companies travel to similar destinations, the smaller lines may include more wilderness oriented cruises.

Alaska is like nowhere else on earth; an unspoilt wilderness that will take your breath away. Resplendent with natural beauty and steeped in adventure, Alaskan cruises are popular summer destinations. While the main attraction for Alaskan cruises is the stunning natural beauty found simply by cruising through the region, there are a number of interesting ports of call. With rustic historical attractions combined with incredible natural wonders, Alaskan cruises visit a number of unique ports of call.

Have a Memorable Trip with Alaska Fishing Charter

By Arindam Chattopadhyaya

If you are a fishing enthusiast, Alaska fishing charters definitely promise a different experience. One of the most untouched fishing regions, Alaska offers spectacular natural scenery and associated wildlife. Without a doubt one of the best things Alaska has to offer is its fish. Renting Alaska fishing charters are a good way to help you find first-rate fish. Even if you are planning to go for a long camping trip, the charters can be hired in between to fulfill any latent fishing ambitions.

Normally, a person can not imagine the amount of fishing opportunities available in Alaska. There are innumerable lakes where one can venture out for fishing- some totally untouched and untapped. However, only seasoned visitors have knowledge of these waters and their fish. If you are a first timer or have not visited the place often, renting fishing charters would be the safest bet. Alaska fishing charters have specialist fishing guides who are experts in their local areas. Knowledgeable captains will take you the best waters for fishing and you can take your pick from the not so common lingcod to halibut, salmon and bottom fish. Other than just fishing, the charter companies will also give advice on other things you can do and explore on your Alaskan expedition.

There are other reasons besides the above, why you should plan your trip with an Alaskan fishing Charter Company. If you are coming from outside for relaxation with some serious fishing thrown in, you will not like to get mired in the tedious details of complicated trip planning. This will be even more burdensome if you are absolutely new to the place and don’t know one end of the place from another. Chances are that your expedition to Alaska is one of those once in a lifetime sort of trips. Alaska fishing charters will help you make the most of it. They are the best way to see all that Alaska has on offer- beautiful lakes, wildlife and of course not to forget the amazing fishing opportunities.

If you are looking for adventure on your trip, then the recommended way to do so is through the services of Alaska fishing charters as they will make sure that the associated risks involved are completely minimized. They will also help organize dream trips such as a stay in a private cabin or even a remote island accessed through a helicopter. Alaska fishing charter companies are the best way to explore uncharted territories and find those fishing spots, which are hidden for others.

See Alaska By Cruise Ship This Summer

By Mandy Karlik

Sometimes I think that even if nobody new ever went on a first-ever cruise to Alaska, the cruise industry would stay busy with Alaskan cruises just taking people who've already been there back again...and again.

The largest state in a very large country, Alaska is probably not the place you think it is. First, it is a vast land where civilization exists in outposts against a wilderness background. There are many parts of Alaska where animals outnumber people.

The wilderness theme crops up where you would least expect it. Try to get in and out of the state's capital city, Juneau, and you find that you need to do it by boat or plane. The place is not accessible by car.

Flying is altogether a normal way of going from point A to point B in Alaska. The state has made flight-seeing popular since so many great natural attractions were best accessed from the air.

Alaska also has a railroad system that was built specifically to show off the state's enthralling natural beauty. Though not extensive, you can travel by rail in Alaska in dome-topped luxury club cars and see the mountains, valleys, and wildlife from the comfort of a luxury vehicle.

That's not such a very different concept from cruising, where you can sail by glaciers, mountains, wildlife, and postcard-perfect scenery all without leaving the comfort of the balcony of your stateroom. (If you like to travel inside stateroom to save money, you can watch this from the many public rooms on the ship.)

If you cruise to Alaska, expect to find chilly temperatures, even in summer. Factor in the breeze off the water and the chill when the sun sets and you can see why a cruise to Alaska requires you to take what passes for winter wear in some of our more southern states.

Of course, that has never stopped adventurous souls from appreciating Alaska. The state has a very diverse history. First, it's the only part of the United States that was ever once part of Russia. You may find Russian artifacts, habits, and even souvenirs in some places. When Seward bought Alaska for the U.S. in the 19th century, the deal was negotiated with Russia.

Early in its American history, Alaska became the sight of a gold stampede as lots of miners headed north to make their fortunes. A few even planned to pan for gold.

Today, Alaska is more concerned with "black gold," or its native oil reserves. Despite abundant natural wealth and beauty, life and even tourism in Alaska isn't always easy. Many products and services in Alaska are expensive, at least by lower-48 standards. The climate is cold and can be hostile, so travel requires a lot of advanced preparation and some physical hardiness.

That's why an Alaskan cruise makes sense, particularly for those modern-day adventurers who aren't so sure they want to climb a mountain of ice to see a glacier or struggle along an unpaved road in an off-road vehicle in the snow to get to the next town.

When shopping for an Alaskan cruise, look at the excursions that are offered. Most cruise ships offer plenty of time for you to soak up on-board activities, so you should take advantage of whatever shore excursions best match your interests.

Want to see polar bears? Go whale watching? Go fly fishing? Flight-see around a glacier? Shop for native art? Drive a dog sled? Most Alaskan cruises offer great excursions like these.

Some cruise shoppers penny pinch for excursions, but it is usually a better deal to penny pinch on a stateroom. Here's why. The biggest part of your bill in seeing Alaska is getting there. That's your cruise fare. Once you're there, you may be able to flight-see or whale watch or do other once-in-a-lifetime thing for a few hundred dollars.

Think of it this way. If you wanted to go fishing for Alaskan king salmon, right this minute, you'd have to get to Alaska and then charter a fishing trip.

If you wanted to whale watch today, you'd have to get to Alaska and then book passage on a whale-watching expedition.

On the cruise, you're already there. You're just paying a supplement or up - charge for these incredible experiences. If you have to economize, you're better off making do with a smaller or inside stateroom and getting the excursions.

Years from now, you won't remember your cruise so much from what your room was like but rather the excursions you had.

Mandy Karlik loves to travel and wishes she was on a cruise ship to Alaska right now. If you're not on an Alaskan cruise, either, find out how to get there by going to http://www.thecruise-shopper.com

Why You Should Consider An Alaskan Adventure Cruise Now

By Dean Caporella

Alaska amazingly holds some fears for many and I guess the fear of the unknown has something to do with this however, what better way than to face those fears by hopping on board a ship and getting immersed in all it has to offer with an adventure cruise.

Long time Alaskan cruise enthusiasts have been discovering the magical qualities this vast wilderness has to offer over and over again and it's one of the few places left in the world where history has been relatively left untouched.

An adventure cruise should be just that and despite the wonderful experience you can have sailing on board one of the bigger ships on the seas, for those who want to get "down and dirty" and have plenty to choose from, smaller charter operators offer anything from kayaking adventures to fishing expeditions along with marine life experiences such as whale watching.

Experienced charter operators offer Inside Passage adventure cruises and if you are a keen angler then you'll get a whole new meaning to the word "big!" King Salmon and Halibut are in plentiful supply and the only problem will be whether you have the strength to haul them in. Kayaking trips are a great way to get amongst the wilderness and packages usually involve hiking trips as well. It's amazing once someone gets a taste of Alaska close up, the experience can be so overwhelming that it becomes a regular destination during their vacation schedule.

Did You Know?

Alaska is such a huge and diverse area however, there are places where big ships cannot go. Adventure cruise enthusiasts have the choice of a number of smaller operated charter services which can take them into areas that would normally be seen from a distance.

Then there's the trip along the amazing coastline between Vancouver and Anchorage. It's a long trip and along the way you'll get to see all of the Inside Passage from British Columbia, all the way to the Alaskan Gulf Coast. Adventure cruise specialists include land excursions as part of the packages available and you'll experience some of the Denali National Park and spend one or two nights in the midst of the wilderness in fabulous lodges.

Glaciers despite there enormity and mystery hold a magic fascination for many people. On an Alaskan adventure cruise, you have every opportunity to get close up and personal with the mighty glaciers. Shorter four day excursions from Juneau take you right into the hight of Glacier Bay. Not only will you get a close hand look at one of nature's most awe-inspiring structures but the marine life there to greet you will have you snapping away vigorously on your camera.

Package Prices

There are an array of options available to holidaymakers from shorter 3-4 day trips right up to near month-long adventure cruises. One of the best ways to enjoy the smaller charter operated expeditions, which include anything from glacier cruising to fishing, is to have your vacation tailor-made. You simply tell them what you're after and an itinerary will be drawn up to suit your particular needs. Otherwise, booking a passage on any one of the cruises on offer will ensure Alaska remains high on your list of destination highlights!

Secrets of Alaskan Fishing

By Mandy Karlik

Cruise passengers to Alaska get plenty of opportunity to take fishing excursions, but it is hard to prepare a newcomer to Alaska for thrill of landing a 20-pound king salmon or the thrill of fishing for 100-pound halbiut. If you'd like to come home from your Alaskan cruise with some fish stories even your best fishing buddies would not believe, just test the icy waters of Alaska.

It's really better for the tourist to go with an excursion or guide than to set off alone. The main advantage to the tour is obvious: no gear. Just getting in and out of Alaska can be a bit of an adventure; so can travel within the state. After all, this is the only state in the Union whose capital city can only be accessed by ship or plane. Traveling with a rod and reel, tackle, and an assortment of lures is asking for trouble.

Guides are also important if you will only have a very limited amount of time to spend and want to maximize your fishing opportunities. Guides know the best spots to fish, can advise you of local regulations, and will assist you in getting the most productive fishing time out of your day.

The most abundant fish in Alaska's abundant waters it the sockeye salmon, sometimes called "reds." These fish are best known as being fighters. Born to swim against the current, a sockeye who takes a hook tends to explode and fight. They're pretty good at it, too. Only one out of every three sockeyes that gets hooked will get cooked. That's because most sockeyes never are landed.

The king of all Alaskan fish is the aptly named king salmon. Seward is probably the best known fishing epicenter for king salmons. The season starts in May.

Silver or Coho salmon come in fresh water and salt water versions. Silver salmon season is July to September, and the best way to go for these fish is by trolling. The limits are six a day (saltwater) or three a day (fresh).

If you've ever seen pictures of fishermen with gigantic fish caught in Alaska, you may be looking at a halibut. A 50-pound halibut is pretty normal, and it's not unusual for these fish to top 100 pounds or more. These fish are best known for their mild flavor and enormous proportions. It takes a lot of strength to land a halibut. Many fishing organizations prefer that the monster halibut get tagged and released.

Ling cod is another popular fish but it has a reputation of being tough to catch. Ling cod live in and around rocky areas and often keep company with silver salmon and rockfish. They are an appalling ugly fish but are known as a real delicacy with flesh as mild as halibut. Most ling cod have white flesh, but some of them are green in the raw state and cook white. While raw green fish is not very visually appealing to some consumers, fish connoisseurs prize the green ling cod filets (which cook to be white anyway).

Ling cod are best pursued with jigs and bait teasers. A 25-pound ling cod in Alaska is considered just about ordinary, and it would not be unheard of to land one that tops 50 pounds. They're wily fish, tough to attract, and when they bite they tend to run to the rocks and swim around, which can often effectively cut the line. The ling cod season is from July to September with the daily bag set at one fish.

Those cruise passengers who opt to go on a fishing excursion should find out before they go if their catch of the day can be served to them or frozen and stored. Cruise lines may have special rules, so ask or read materials first. You may be able to have your catch of the day served for your dinner. There are fishing companies that will freeze your catch and then send it on its way. Airlines going in and out of Alaska also have provisions for passengers to check frozen fish. Please ask your airlines since regulations change constantly, but at one time, passengers on most flights in and out of Alaska could check up to 50 pounds of frozen fish at no charge.

If you do have fish frozen, find out how it is packed and how long it will last. Many flash-frozen products are placed in insulated coolers, but still can only be expected to last about 24 hours before they need to get in refrigeration.

Cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Princess, Norwegian, Holland/America, Windstar, Carnival and Celebrity offer last-minute deals, seasonal sales, and sometimes discounts for repeat customers. You can search all the cruise lines on the internet for cheap deals. Or you can make good use of your time by using an online cruise agency who has several cruise lines for you to compare. Why You Should Take an Alaskan Cruise

By Andre Sanchez

There are several reasons why you should take an Alaskan cruise if you have never visited the state before. The awesome scenery, the wildlife and the sports are three good reasons for a start, and there are others.

Let’s look at the scenery first. One of the great things about Alaska is that it is unspoiled by industrial development and the destruction of the habitat by human overpopulation. The route from Vancouver to Anchorage is awe inspiring, and you will also see the Inside Passage all the way from British Columbia to the Alaskan Gulf Coast. You can terminate at Seward to make the trip a little shorter, but with each you can visit the former Russian post Sitka, the Glacier Bay National Park and the state capital, Juneau.

Glaciers look impressive when you see them in the movies or on TV, but nothing can prepare you for the magic and enormity of the real thing, seen up close. You can get excursions from Juneau into Glacier Bay for a first hand look at some of natures most astonishing and breathtaking creations.

The excursions can introduce you to even more of Alaska’s awesome scenery, and you will need a lot of film for your camera! Adventure cruises can take you to the magnificence of the Denali National Park. Here you will find much of the indigenous wildlife of Alaska, including grizzly bears, wolves, moose and caribou. You can take in some climbing, or visit the glaciers, and this is also the home of America’s tallest mountain, Mount McKinley. Don’t just visit, but spend a night or two in one of the many lodges and enjoy the experience to the fullest.

If you prefer to take in the glaciers in style and comfort, you can take a helicopter trip, if you call a helicopter comfort. However, you can soar above these slow moving rivers of ice and take in all the breathtaking scenery from above. This is a good option on the occasions that the weather is too wet for you travel on foot. If fishing is your thing Alaska can offer salmon and massive halibut, and you can also try a bit of ice fishing.

If you prefer something a bit more energetic, many cruises offer inland trips and also the chance for a bit of sailing. Kayaking is popular and you could combine that with some whale watching. Add to that the possibilities of gold panning, dog sledding and snorkeling and you will get an idea of some of the activities on offer during an Alaskan cruise.

Don’t forget what the cruise ships themselves have to offer. For the energetic there are the fitness activities, and also wall climbing, swimming, spas and some even have skating rinks. You will be well catered for on the entertainment front, with casinos, shows and night clubs.

One thing that cruises are famed for is the food. There is food of all types to suite every taste and diet, and depending upon your cruise ship, there is normally a wide variety of eating times so that you can choose what suits you best. The quality of food is excellent, and very rarely does anybody leave their ship grumbling about the food, unless they have put on too much weight!

There are a number of different Alaskan cruises available ranging from the huge cruise ships that make up for their restricted mobility in smaller inlets by offering a good range of excursions, to the smaller operators who offer adventure cruises that allow to see more of inland Alaska with hiking treks, bicycle trips and sled rides. Your cruise can last from less than a week to an adventure cruise of almost a month.

You can take one way cruises between Vancouver and Sitka, returning when you want or even continuing with another trip farther North. It is possible to design your own vacation, making a list of your needs and what you want to take in, and it will be designed specifically for you. Such tailor-made vacations can involve a combination of regular cruises and bespoke overland adventures.

Because there is always something exciting to do in Alaska, the itinerary and route is normally arranged so that most of the sailing takes place by night so that as much as possible can be packed in during the day.

An Alaskan cruise should be the vacation of a lifetime. However there is so much on offer in Alaska that you will have time to see and do only a fraction of what is available. That is why many people keep returning for more, and why you should take an Alaskan cruise. If you have not yet had the pleasure of seeing Alaska in the raw, then you.

Alaskan Cruise Tips

By Michael Russell

When is the best time to take a cruise?

The cruise season runs from May through September. July and certainly August are the busiest months and the warmest. Early May could still be chilly and September may be very wet depending on weather patterns that year.

What itineraries are available in Alaska?

There are two major cruise routes to pick. The first option is a 7 day round trip from Vancouver. The stops include Juneau, the capital of Alaska, Ketchikan, Glacier Bay National Park and Sitka, which is a former Russian outpost. The other major route is a 7 to 10 day one-way cruise from Vancouver to Seward or in the opposite direction. This one-way route works well if you were headed in that direction to begin with. The latter of the two options is much better if you want to take a land tour of Alaska. It also offers more glaciers and Alaskan scenery.

How can I choose a ship?

There are 30 different ships on 13 different cruise lines to choose. This can be a headache to sort out but there are some differences. The larger cruise lines offer more entertainment in the form of casinos, more nightlife and shows than their smaller competitors do. The smaller ships, around a couple of hundred people, are more centered on nature and exploring the beauty of Alaska. You may miss some of that on the larger ships but the smaller ones will not have the luxuries either. Decide if you want the comforts of a cruise over the cost of missing the beautiful views.

What kinds of shore excursions are there?

There is a lot to do in Alaska including some things you may only find there. You can take a helicopter ride to the glaciers, enjoy the wildlife, fishing the world renown salmon and halibut, pan for gold in the icy rivers or experience some Russian culture.

When should I book and how expensive is it?

Cruises are booking up constantly. If you are serious about going you should call today. The sooner the better and it may even be cheaper if you do not wait until the last minute. Cruises are much cheaper than traveling on your own where accommodations, travel, food and other items are not included. A cruise comes out to around $150 a day and in some cases less. It is hard to beat that once you add up a hotel and 3 meals a day plus other expenses.

Is there anything to do while on the ship?

Cruises offer many different activities. The newer cruises even offer ice skating rinks and climbing walls. Most offer spas, pools, workout gyms, daily entertainment shows, casinos and a place to practice your golf swing and even shoot some hoops. There is so much to do that you may not even have time to explore everything.

Can I take my family on a cruise with me?

A quarter of all cruises are filled with families with children. There is normally a discount for children and the cruise offers a lot for them to do too.

What should I pack?

A cruise is not that much different from any other vacation. There are some exceptions including at night during formal dinner it is appropriate to wear a suit or dress. Dress causally during the day and on excursions.

How does tipping work on the cruise?

Each cruise is different but if the tip is separate, it is customary to leave a few dollars a day per person for both the waiter and your room steward.

Luxury Cruise Vacations: Six Reasons to Choose a Caribbean or Alaskan Cruise

By Elaine Lince

You are thinking about your next holiday or vacation, and you’re wondering why you should select a cruise. I can think of six good reasons, and here they are.

  1. A cruise can be better than a land based vacation. Once on board ship everything you could possible want is there for you. You don’t waste time traveling from one place to another; the travel is the experience on a cruise.
  2. A cruise is great value for your money. When you consider the amount of money you would spend on hotels, meals, and entertainment, a cruise package deal is a great value. Plus you know about how much money you are going to spend ahead of time. With so many cruise lines competing for your money great deals and discount prices are available. Upgrades, add-on, and coupons are available.
  3. Superb food! Superb food! Superb food! Often twenty-four hours a day. Great meals with fantastic presentation in restaurants with great ambiance, from the most casual diner or bar-type offering to upscale venues with white linen table clothes. The wait staff is superbly trained and adds to the experience.
  4. Controlled environment. Every aspect of the environment is designed with your pleasure in mind. From the activities and excursions, to the turning down of the bed linen, your expectations are being met or exceeded.
  5. Romance. Recapture the romance of old, cruising in fine ships, moonlight and stars, elegant meals. Whether you are there with someone special or introducing your children to cruising, there is romance for everyone.
  6. It’s all about you! Every activity, every detail is directed at you and your enjoyment. Thanks to the stiff competition in the cruise industry, each cruise line wants you to feel pampered and have the best experience possible. This is the time it really is okay if it’s all about you.
Not convinced? Investigate at an online travel agency in the privacy of your own home and see what I am talking about. Then make your decision.

Using the internet is a great way to find the best cruise prices available with the least amount of effort. You can book your cruise at any of the major cruise lines and get the cruise you've always dreamed of. Don't forget to check out all the fun activities and excursions to enjoy on your perfect cruise vacation.

Alaska Cruise Tours From Anchorage - The Best Post-Cruise Tour

By Scott Miller

With an Alaska cruise, you have some great optional land tours that you can add on either before or after your actual cruise. In the Anchorage area, which includes the ports of Seward and Whittier, you have some wonderful pre- or post-cruise land Alaska land tour options.

Two of the best tour packages are the Kenai Fjords tour and the Denali Tour. The Kenai Peninsula tours generally run about 2 to 4 days. The Denali tours run between 4 and 5 days. There are also week-long tours that include both locations.

While it is possible to take a guided tour, many of the tours are self-guided rail or bus excursions, allowing you to visit the sights at your own pace, yet without worrying about driving, so that you to relax and enjoy your trip.

Kenai Fjords Tours: See the Breathtaking Kenai Peninsula

The Kenai Peninsula is located about three hours south and southwest of Anchorage. The peninsula is home to the scenic ports of Seward and Homer, along with the breathtakingly beautiful Kenai Fjords National Park.

Pre-cruise Kenai tours generally start in Anchorage, then follow the road or train lines along the Turnagain Arm to Seward. The Turnagain Arm is a long, narrow bay that is home to many beluga whales, so keep an eye out for them when you pass alongside this bay.

Seward is a quaint fishing village that is located on the Gulf of Alaska, home to many great little shops, galleries, restaurants, and museums. Seward serves as your home base for exploring the peninsula and Kenai Fjords National Park.

Since the vast majority of Kenai Fjords is accessible only by water, you will take a day cruise from Seward into the park, exploring its amazing fjords and glaciers up close. The park is a truly beautiful place, with abundant sea life and wildlife, and many breathtaking views.

You generally spend the next day exploring the town of Seward, including the Alaska Sea Life Center, a world-class marine research and educational facility, where you can see and learn about the area’s amazing sea life.

The tour then heads by bus or rail back to Anchorage, before taking you on to your cruise at the port of Whittier.

Mt. McKinley and Denali National Park Tours

As beautiful and scenic as the Kenai peninsula is, if I had to pick one of these two tours to add on to my Alaska cruise, I would select the Denali tour. The reason is that this tour allows you to see and experience much more of the great interior of Alaska, a perfect compliment to your cruise along Alaska’s coastline.

Your Denali park tour will begin in Anchorage, heading along the wonderfully scenic Alaska Railroad. The trip takes a little more than 7 hours by rail, and along the way you pass some absolutely beautiful scenery, including, on clear days, some breathtaking views of the 20,320 foot Mt. McKinley, North America’s tallest peak.

Some tours whisk you off for a whitewater rafting adventure, an incredible experience along one of the beautiful, wild rivers in the Denali area.

The next day you will likely take a tour of Denali Park itself. Bear in mind Denali National Park is the size of Massachusetts, so you could take a month and still not see it all. The 95 mile long Kantishna Wilderness tour is one of the more popular Denali trips. It is a twelve hour long journey through some of the parks’ most scenic roadways.

The wildlife viewing in Denali is beyond compare, including black and brown bears, wolves, caribou, Dall sheep, and moose.

After Denali, most tours generally head back south to the village of Talkeetna. After some shopping and lunch in this quaint town, you might head off on a jet boat cruise along one of the area’s wild and scenic rivers, often with the massive and spectacular Mt. McKinley as a backdrop.

Finally, on the last day, you head from Talkeetna to the port of Seward or Whittier, where you board your Alaska cruise.

This Denali land tour is really full of excitement, thrills, and breathtaking scenery. It gives you a great feel for the interior of this amazing state.

Whether you take the Kenai Fjords tour, the Denali tour, or a combined tour of both, you will have a great experience that perfectly compliments your Alaska cruise and gives you a greater appreciation of the vast and varied natural beauty of this incredible state.
